
Soybean exports from Brazil fall 12.7% in June and ore and oil advance

Brazilian soy exports reached 11.11 million tons in June, down 12.7% compared to the same period last year, after large volumes of the oilseed had already been shipped in previous months, government data showed on Thursday.
On the other hand, foreign sales of extractive industry commodities showed significant advances, informed the Foreign Trade Secretariat (SECEX).
The country exported 8.37 million tons of oil compared to 5.45 million in June last year, while iron ore shipments reached 33.7 million tons, versus 30 million a year earlier.
