On October 21st, Companhia Docas da Paraíba announced the opening of Public Consultation No. 001/2021-DOCAS/PB, aiming at the implementation of the Cabedelo Truck Regulation Yard.
The Regulator Yard will increase productivity and operational efficiency at the Port of Cabedelo, allow easier access, improve truck arrivals, reduce queues in the city of Cabedelo, promote better vehicle flow management and a better Port/City ratio, and eliminate irregular parking on the roads around the Port and its terminals.
Public Consultation No. 001/2021 was published in the Official Federal Gazette of 10/21/2021 and will be available at the electronic address of Companhia Docas da Paraíba from 10/21/2021 to 11/05/2021, with a view to receiving contributions, subsidies, and suggestions for the improvement of the bidding process regarding the assignment of the onerous use of an area that does not affect the port operation. The area is located inside the organized port of Cabedelo/PB and is intended for the implementation and operation of a Truck Sorting Yard – Truck Center.
