Coffee: April shipments to reach 1.341 million sacks

Brazilian coffee bean shipments in April totaled 1,340,983 60-kilogram sacks from April 1 to April 18 (daily average of 134,098 bags), generating US$ 331.345 million in revenue (average daily rate of US$ 33.134 million) and an average price of US$ 247.09 per bag.

The average daily revenue obtained from coffee bean shipments in April is, so far, 42.5% higher than the daily average registered in April 2021, which was US$ 23.246 million. On the other hand, the average daily volume shipped is 22.3% lower than in April 2021, with an average daily record of 172,642 bags. The average price, in turn, shot up 83.5%.
