See below the ranking of ports in Brazil and the Plate region that most exported and imported containers in the first five months of 2022 compared to the same period in 2021. The data below is from the DataLiner platform.
Brazil
The Port of Santos leads the ranking of exports via container, with 465,033 TEUs, a slight drop of 2.04% compared to the same period in 2021. The Port of Paranaguá comes in second, with 170,264 TEUs, which increased by 11.29% vis-a-vis the same comparative frame. The Port of Navegantes, with 167,708 TEUs, increased shipments by 10.35%.

The import leadership continues with the Port of Santo, with a dip of 5.86% in landings. The Port of Navegantes ranked second with a drop f 19.99% in volumes, while Paranaguá, in third, imported a volume 12.27% lower. See more information below:

In the Plate region (Paraguay, Uruguay, and Argentina), the port of Buenos Aires led the exports ranking, with a volume drop of 6.4% compared to the first five months of 2021. The Port of Montevideo’s second place grew 13.07% in the period. Check it out below:
