Brazil ships 128.548 thousand tonnes of beef in August

Exports of fresh, frozen, or refrigerated beef from Brazil generated US$ 804.088 million in the first 15 working days of August, registering a daily average of US$ 53.605 million. The total amount exported reached 128,548 thousand tonnes, with a daily average of 8,569k tonnes. The average price paid per tonne was US$ 6,255.10.

Compared to August 2021, there was a gain of 14.3% in the average daily value of exports, an increase of 3.8% in the average daily amount exported, and a rise of 10.1% in the average price. The data are from the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Services and released by the Foreign Trade Secretariat.
