Fertilizers: Brazil imports rise to 2.28m tonnes in August

Imports of fertilizers from Brazil prompted a clash flow of US$ 1.67 billion in August (15 working days), with a daily average of US$ 113.1 million. The total amount of fertilizers imported by the country was 2.28 million tonnes, with an average of 151.74 thousand tonnes. The average price per tonne was US$ 745.40.

Compared to August 2021, there was an increase of 58.1% in the average daily value of imports, a loss of 22.8% in the average daily amount imported, and an increase of 104.8% in the average price.
