Brazil soybean shipments catch up to last year’s October volume

Soybean exports from Brazil are on the rise in October, reaching 3.25 million tonnes year-to-date until the third week of the month, almost the total volume exported by the country in the entire month of October 2021 (3.29 million tonnes), according to Monday (10/24) data from the Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex).
The daily average of exports totaled 232.3 thousand tonnes versus 164.64 thousand tonnes a day in 2021.

Corn exports surpassed 5 million tonnes versus 1.8 million tonnes accumulated throughout the entire month of 2021.
