Antaq ratifies heading providing financial return to leasing at Port of Santos

The National Waterway Transportation Agency (ANTAQ) approved the inclusion of a tariff modality that will be used to remunerate a terminal leasing project in the Port of Santos (SP).
Here we are talking about the area termed SSZ 33E, which may be destined for handling and storing general cargo, containers, or event project cargo (those too large or heavy to be transported in conventional containers).
Antaq’s recent decision makes it possible for the Santos Port Authority to proceed with the following contracting stages under a simplified leasing modality, which does not require a public hearing, speeding up the occupation of its current or soon-to-be vacant areas.
