DatamarNews is a Datamar company set up to keep professionals in the maritime and foreign trade fields well-informed of events which may influence their day-to-day business. It combines the experience of its English-speaking staff with access to its proprietary databases to bring current local news articles to life, summarising the important parts of the news and injecting it with data, graphs and maps.

Datamar produces a daily clipping service which its analysts examine to identify how Datamar data, and many other relevant data sources, can be used to bring a quantitative element into the story. Typically the stories are released a maximum of 24 hours after the original story has appeared in the news. DatamarNews does however also create original pieces of news based on its databases, including reports and rankings which follow its editorial calendar.
