The Brazilian government celebrated Gabon’s decision to accept the International Zoosanitary Certificate (CZI) license for cattle exports and buffaloes for reproduction.
In 2023, Gabon imported more than $46 million worth of Brazilian agribusiness products, with the meat sector accounting for 85% of these exports.
With this announcement, Brazilian agribusiness has achieved its 75th market opening this year, totaling 153 openings in 53 countries since the beginning of 2023.
This new market opening is the result of coordinated efforts between the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE).
