French ocean carrier CMA CGM has announced the addition of CMA CGM Laguna to its fleet. The newbuilding is a 15,000 TEU container ship and the last one of a series of six sister ships of the same capacity.
CMA CGM celebrated the grand naming ceremony of the LNG-powered boxship on 10 September at the Jiangnan Shipyard in Shanghai, China.
“September 10th coincides with National Teachers’ Day in China, making the presence of Dr. Chen, a respected educator, as our godmother even more meaningful,” said the Marseille-based shipping company in a statement.
