Norcoast Highlights Role of Coastal Shipping in Driving a Sustainable Future in New Manifesto

Norcoast, a Brazilian coastal navigation company, launches its new manifesto video, inviting viewers to reflect on how logistics are conducted with a focus on a more sustainable future. With the slogan “How far can the sea go?”, the film highlights the urgency of opening new growth routes, with the sea as the main direction.
“With a robust maritime coastline, we believe Brazil has the sea as a natural and strategic ally to revolutionize national logistics. By combining this with the global challenge of reducing greenhouse gas emissions, we show how the sea can reach different places, transporting cargo in a more efficient and cleaner way,” says Renata Neves, Head of Marketing & Corporate Communication at Norcoast.
The company, which began operations in February 2024, offers cabotage services across the entire Brazilian coastline, with door-to-door logistics and operations in major ports in the country, such as Santos (SP), Paranaguá (PR), Itajaí (SC), Suape (PE), Pecém (CE), and Manaus (AM). With a fleet of four vessels with a capacity of 3,500 TEUs, Norcoast arrived to fill a gap of more than 20 years without new entrants in the maritime transport market.
In addition to being another player in Brazilian multimodal logistics, the company bets on technology to offer logistical efficiency, predictability, and transparency through a digital platform that allows tracking all stages of cargo movement, by land and sea, throughout the complete journey and in real-time.
