
Revenue from Pork Exports in 13 Business Days Reaches 83.94% of Total for April 2024

According to information from the Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex) of the Federal Government, released on Tuesday (April 22), exports of fresh, chilled, or frozen pork during the first 13 business days of April 2025 already generated 83.94% of the total revenue recorded for the entire month of April 2024.
The revenue so far this month—US$186.835 million—represents 83.94% of the US$222.575 million earned throughout April last year. In terms of volume, 75,027.3 tonnes have been shipped, corresponding to 77.55% of the 96,743.7 tonnes exported in April 2024.
The daily average revenue during this period stood at US$14.372 million, 42.1% higher than the daily average of April 2024. Compared to the previous week, there was a 14.22% increase, up from US$12.583 million recorded last week.

As for daily average volume, 5,771.3 tonnes were exported, an increase of 31.2% compared to the same month in 2024. The previous week’s performance was up 11.42% from 5,179.4 tonnes.
The price paid per ton, at US$2,490.23, is 8.2% higher than in April last year. This represents an increase of 2.50% compared to the US$2,429.35 recorded the previous week.
