Administration and Finance Director at SPA to temporarily take over company’s management

The director-president of Santos Port Authority (SPA), Fernando Biral, will step down on 02/22. The formal decision was announced on Friday (02/17) in an extraordinary meeting of the Company’s Board of Directors (Consad).
As of Thursday (02/23), the management of the company will be taken over on an interim basis by the director of Administration and Finance, Marcus Mingoni, who will head the two directorates and define who will be temporarily responsible for the Department of Business Development and Regulation (Dineg).
Biral joined SPA in April 2019 as Director of Administration and Finance and assumed the presidency in April 2020. Marcus Mingoni has been with the Company since May 2020. He has a degree in Business Administration (FGV/SP) and an MBA in Finance (Insper).
Biral and Mingoni have led the management of the SPA in recent years, focusing on growing operations and strengthening its financial soundness, resulting in consecutive records of cargo throughput and profits.
