
ANEC: Corn exports may surpass soybeans for the 1st time since January

On Wednesday, ANEC (the national association of cereal exporters) stated that Brazil’s corn exports should reach 1.964 million tons in November, surpassing the month’s soybean exports for the first time since January.
Soy exports from Brazil should reach 1.930 million tons this month, according to data from ANEC obtained from port vessel schedules.

Considering exports scheduled for November, soybean shipments for the full year are estimated at 83.8 million tons. Corn, on the other hand, will accumulate around 16.5 million tons, around half of the amount exported in 2020.
