Anec expects 14.662 mln tonnes of soybean exports in March

Brazil’s National Association of Cereal Exporters (Anec) projects 14.662 million tonnes of soybean exports in March compared to 12.163 million tonnes last year and 7.552 million tonnes in February.

Corn shipments are expected between 549,000 to 803,219,000 tonnes, after 1.939 million tonnes shipped abroad in February. Brazil exported 107,232 thousand tonnes of corn in March last year, according to the association’s estimate.

Regarding soymeal, Anec predicts that Brazilian exports should reach 1.905 million tonnes in March, versus 1.369 million tonnes a year earlier and 1.289 million in February.
As for wheat, Brazil should export 612,824 tonnes compared to 508,164 tonnes in March 2022 and 571,888 tonnes last month, according to Anec’s projection.
The country shipped 2.787 million tonnes of soybeans, 632,030 tonnes of soymeal, 253,781 tonnes of corn, and 166,027 tonnes of wheat between February 26th to March 4th. Soybean exports should total 3.996 million tonnes of soybeans, 451,418 tonnes of soymeal, 248,971 tonnes of corn, and 176,231 tonnes of wheat between March 5th to March 11th.
