ANEC maintains June soybean export forecasts
Jun, 29, 2021 Posted by Ruth HollardWeek 202127
On Tuesday, ANEC (the national association of cereal exporters) estimated that exports of Brazilian soybeans should reach 10.25 million tons in June, a figure that is practically unstable in comparison with the forecast of the previous week.
As a result, ANEC expects a drop in soybean exports compared to the 11.9 million tons in June last year.
Exports of soybean meal from Brazil should reach 2.025 million tons this month, also stable compared to the previous week, but a jump compared to June of last year (1.39 million tons).
See the chart below for a comparison of Brazilian soybean exports in the first five months of 2020 and 2021, according to DataLiner:

With low supplies after a crop failure, corn exports will total just 89,000 tons in June, versus 123,949 tons in the previous week’s projection. In June 2020, Brazil exported almost 800,000 tons.
