
Anec raises soybean, soy meal, corn June export projections

Brazil is expected to export more soybeans, soybean meal, and corn in June than initially expected, according to the National Association of Cereal Exporters (Anec) this Tuesday, June 14.
Soybean shipments from Brazil are expected to reach 10.84 million tonnes in June, up from 9.41 million in the previous week’s forecast.
With the adjustment, June exports may increase by more than 700,000 tonnes over the same month last year.

The country’s corn exports were revised up to 1.79 million tonnes from 1.45 million a week ago, indicating an increase of 1.7 million tonnes versus June 2021.
Soybean meal exports, in turn, are expected to reach 2.19 million tonnes, a modest increase over the previous week, but a 351 thousand tonnes gain over last year.
