
Anec Upgrades Brazil’s September Soybean, Corn Export Forecasts

Brazil’s soybean exports in September are estimated at 5.83 million tons, according to data from the National Association of Cereal Exporters (Anec) released on Tuesday.
Previously, the forecast was for 5.51 million tonnes. As a result, Brazil’s soybean exports are expected to increase by 281,700 tons compared to the same month last year.
Brazilian corn exports are expected to reach 6.63 million tons, up from the previous estimate of 6.47 million tonnes.

Despite lower exports this year, shipments will fall by 2.79 million tonnes compared to the same month in 2023.
Brazilian soybean meal exports are projected to hit 2.02 million tonnes, remaining stable from the previous week and showing an increase of more than 100,000 tons compared to 2023, according to Anec.
