Antaq green lights next step for ITG 02 lease at the Port of Itaguaí

The National Waterway Transportation Agency (Antaq) approved subsidies and suggestions for improving the technical reports and legal documents employed in the tender for the ITG 02 terminal in the Port of Itaguaí.
Antaq published a note on its official website confirming the decision.
The new venture is expected to span across 348,937m² and receive throughput its concession tenure of almost BRL 3 billion in investments, increasing the iron ore movement capacity in Itaguaí to nearly 400 million tonnes.
In his decision, the rapporteur for the process, director Alber Vasconcelos, rejected the critiques raised during the public consultation period regarding the modeling developed by Antaq.
