Jun, 15, 2022 Posted by Gabriel MalheirosWeek 202224
Antaq will hold, between June 23 and August 26, public consultation and hearing to gather contributions and improve normative instructions to assess possible misconducts associated with terminal handling charges 2 (THC2) in port facilities, as provided for in article 9 of Antaq resolution No. 72, dated March 30, 2022.
Legal drafts and technical documents are available here.
THC2 is levied on the cargo transfer from the yard pile to the port terminal gate for imported goods.
Content and means of participation
The Agency will consider only contributions relating to the subject of the public consultation. The inputs may be addressed to ANTAQ until 11:59 pm on August 6, exclusively through the electronic form available at https://www.gov.br/antaq/pt-br.
It will be allowed, exclusively through the email annex_audiencia072022@antaq.gov.br, upon identification of the participant and within the stipulated period, to attach digital images, such as maps, plans, and photos. The text contributions must be filled in the appropriate fields of the electronic form.
Suppose the interested party does not have the necessary resources to send the contribution through the electronic form. In that case, they may do so using the Agency’s General Secretariat (SGE) computer in Brasília/DF or at its Regional Units, whose addresses are available on the ANTAQ website.
The contributions received will be available to interested parties on the Agency’s website.
Public Hearing
A public hearing will be held, in person or via teleconferencing, on a day, time, and location to be determined and notified in due course to encourage discussion and address any ambiguities about the normative act.
