ANTAQ to start public consultations for help in leasing terminal at Fortaleza Port

On Monday, May 8th, the National Waterway Transport Agency – ANTAQ will begin public consultations and hearings to aid in the bidding of the lease for a terminal at Fortaleza Port (area MUC01) for handling and storing solid vegetable bulk, especially grain.

Contributions may be sent to ANTAQ until 11:59 pm on 7/22/2020, exclusively through the site http://portal.antaq.gov.br.
The terminal
MUC01 covers 6,000 m² and is used for handling and storing solid vegetable bulk, especially wheat grain. The investments planned to be made by the tenants over the 25 year-long contract will be R$56.7 million. The total contract value / total gross revenue is R$516.6 million. The future terminal leaseholders will pay the port authorities for use of the area at a monthly rate of R$63,231.54 along with an additional R$1.54 per tonne shipped.
