
Antaq will open public consultation on inland waterway charter

ANTAQ published, on Friday (09/13) in the Official Gazette, the opening of the public consultation and hearing, which will take place between September 20 and November 4, to obtain contributions, subsidies, and suggestions for the improvement of the proposal to establish and standardize the procedures and criteria for the chartering of vessels in inland navigation.
The legal drafts and technical documents related to this public hearing will be available at the following address: http://portal.antaq.gov.br/index.php/acesso-a-informacao/audiencia-publica-2/. The Agency will only consider contributions, subsidies, and suggestions that have as their object the draft submitted for public consultation and hearing.
Contributions may be sent to ANTAQ until 11:59 pm on 11/04/2019, exclusively through the electronic form available at http://portal.antaq.gov.br. Contributions sent by other means will not be accepted.
It will be allowed, exclusively through the e-mail: anexo_audiencia102019@antaq.gov.br, upon identification of the taxpayer and within the time limit stipulated in the public hearing notice, to attach digital images, such as maps, plans, and photos, while contributions in text must be completed in the appropriate fields of the electronic form.
In-person Audience
In order to stimulate discussion and clarify any doubts regarding this normative act, an in-person public hearing will be held in the auditorium of ANTAQ Headquarters Building, located at SEPN 514, Conjunto “E”, Asa Norte – Brasília/DF, on 10/22/2019, beginning at 3:00 pm and ending whenever the last manifestation is accredited, its deadline being 5:30 pm.
