On Monday (14/08), the Port Authority of Santos (APS) inaugurated the Port Inspection Post (PFP) Ponta da Praia 1, marking a significant advancement in port infrastructure. This new post is responsible for overseeing access to the public wharf of warehouses 37, 38, and 39.
Replacing the former gate 21, the PFP was meticulously constructed by Terminal XXXIX, aligning with their ongoing efforts to modernize their facilities. The terminal explained that this installation prioritizes modernity, comfort, and safety and ensures that the Port Guard has a comprehensive view of the entire inspection area under their jurisdiction and its surroundings.
Beyond enhancing the inspection process, users can also anticipate reaping the benefits of this modernized checkpoint, which offers expedited and more secure access. The introduction of this new gate is yet another manifestation of the effective collaboration between APS and the private terminals of the Port of Santos.
