Argentina’s National Health and Food Quality Service (Senasa) has approved the export of 54 tons of industrial tallow from the Insuga factory in the municipality of Puerto Tirol, Chaco province, to Brazil for use in biodiesel production.
The shipment was completed by fully loading two containers and sending them to Brazil through the Senasa-verified company Insuga SA, whose agents oversee the production of tallow, as well as meat and bone bran, at all stages, from raw material to final product delivery in accordance with the buyer country’s requirements.
The company exported 216 tons of tallow to Brazil by land from November 2021 to January 5, 2022, traveling through the province of Corrientes and into the state of Rio Grande do Sul.
