Argentina: soybean output to reach 44 million tonnes

Argentina’s soybean output in 2021/22 is estimated to be 44 million tonnes, a 4.3% decrease from the 46 million tonnes expected in 2020/21. The data is part of Argentina’s Ministry of Agroindustry’s August report. There were no changes compared to the July report.
Argentina is expected to save an area of 16.1 million hectares for soybean crops in the 2021/22 season, 3.0% below the 16.6 million hectares in the 2020/21 season. Concerning July, there were no changes.
