Beef: Argentina exports drop 3.9% in September

In September, the volume of beef exported in Argentina was equivalent to 55.6 thousand tons of product weight (79.5 thousand tons of bone-in beef), showing a 3.9% drop in volume compared to August, informed the meat industry association CICCRA.
The increase in sales to China and Germany could not offset significant drops in sales to other key destinations (Israel, Chile, USA, Netherlands, Brazil, and Italy).

In the first nine months of the year, the volume of beef exported totaled 472.9 thousand tonnes. These sales generated revenues of US$ 2.755 million, 36.2% higher than that recorded in January and September 2021. The average price declared was US$ 5,826 per tonne, which showed an annual improvement of 26.2%. The information comes from the CMA Latam Agency.
