Beef: Uruguay exports almost 50% more in 2022

Uruguay’s beef exports have totaled US$1.8 billion so far in 2022, registering an increase of nearly 50% over the previous year, according to Uruguay’s National Meat Institute (INAC) data.
From January 2022 to early July, 370,352 tonnes were shipped, compared to 318,012 in the previous year, with volume growth of 16.5%.
