Braskem resin exports drop 46% in the 2nd quarter

Braskem’s resin exports dropped 46% in the 2nd quarter of 2021 compared to the same period last year. The information was disclosed in a statement sent to the market on the 22nd.
“The drop was due to the lower supply of resins for export due to the normalization of demand in the Brazilian market. The market had been impacted in the 2nd quarter of 2020 by the economic slowdown caused by Covid-19”, said the company.
