
Brazil ends 2023 as the second largest papaya exporter in the world

In 2023, Brazil gained ground as one of the world’s key papaya exporters, reports Fresh Plaza. Mexico took the lead in global exports, totaling US$123.7 million. Brazil followed closely in second place, with US$53 million, trailed by Guatemala with US$22 million, the United States with US$20 million, and the Netherlands with US$15 million.
Brazil’s robust and consistent performance underscores its substantial presence in papaya exports, securing a prominent position among the leading suppliers of this fruit worldwide.
