Brazil exports 1.419 million tonness of sugar and molasses in July

Brazil exported 1.419 million tons of sugar and molasses in July, up 3.7% from the same period in 2022. The total revenue from exports was R$ 700.254 million. In the last week alone, Brazil exported about 690,000 tons of sugar and molasses.
In June, Brazil exported 3.081 million tons of sugar and molasses, with a total revenue of US$ 1.149 billion. The average daily export of sugar and molasses in July was 141.99 tons, up 23% from the same period in 2022. The average price of sugar and molasses exports in July was US$ 493.20 per ton.
The increased exports of sugar and molasses from Brazil are due to a number of factors, including the high demand for sugar from China and India and the favorable weather conditions in Brazil. The increased exports are also expected to help to boost the Brazilian economy.
