
Brazil: Poultry exports soar in June to 162.407 k tonnes

In June, Brazil witnessed a substantial surge in exports of poultry meat and its edible offal, both fresh and frozen, resulting in a remarkable revenue of US$ 322.222 million within just six working days. This translates to an impressive daily average of US$ 53.703 million.
Moreover, the total volume of poultry meat exported from the country amounted to a staggering 162,407 thousand tons, with a daily average of 27,067 thousand tons. The average price per ton stood at US$ 1,984.00.

When compared to June 2022, these figures demonstrate significant growth. The average daily value of poultry exports in June increased by an impressive 28.7%, while the average daily quantity soared by 42.9%. Conversely, there was a slight decline of 9.9% in the average price per ton. These data were recently released by the Foreign Trade Secretariat.
