Brazil: sugar exports reach 1.22 million tonnes in November

The daily average revenue from exports of sugar and other molasses from Brazil reached $90.424 million in November, with seven business days until yesterday, according to data from the Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex). Meanwhile, the average daily volume of exports in the month reached 174,266 metric tons.
In November, 1,219,865 metric tons of sugar were exported, generating revenue of $633 million at an average price of $518.90 per metric ton.
Compared to the daily average of November 2022, which was $69.863 million, there is a 29.4% increase in the daily value obtained from sugar exports in November 2023.
There is a 4.1% increase in volume compared to the 167,390 metric tons of sugar shipped daily from Brazil in November 2022. The average price also rose by 24.3%, compared to the $417.40 per metric ton observed in November 2022.
