Brazil to export 7.3 my of soybeans in February – Anec

Brazil is expected to export 7.3 million tonnes of soybeans in February, according to the weekly report issued by the National Association of Grain Exporters (Anec). In January, soybean shipments totaled 2.32 million tonnes. In February last year, Brazil shipped 7.55 million tonnes, according to the association.
The chart below shows Brazilian soy exports, including soybean grains and soy meal, from January 2019 to Dec 2023. The data is from DataLiner.

Soybean meal exports are expected to reach 2 million tonnes, down from the volume shipped in January, which was 1.75 million tonnes. In February 2023, shipments totaled 1.28 million tonnes.
As for corn, shipments in February are expected to total 742,000 tonnes, compared to 3.43 million tonnes exported in January and 1.95 million tonnes in February 2023.
For wheat, the forecast is for 677,000 tonnes to be shipped in February, compared to 685,000 tonnes in January and 523,000 tonnes in February of last year.
