Brazil to export dairy products to Mexico
Dec, 22, 2021 Posted by Gabriel MalheirosWeek 202149
Mexican health authorities approved the entry of Brazilian dairy products into the country. So far, the Mexicans have given the green light to 18 establishments in Brazil.
The “Associação de Produtores de Leite” (Abraleite), Brazil’s dairy industry association, classified the news as ‘excellent’ for the industry.
“Mexico is a large consumer market and having export authorization approved is an important step. The country could become a regular destination for Brazilian dairy products. Abraleite worked hard for this and congratulates the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply for the articulation and finalization of the agreement”, says Geraldo Borges, president of the entity.
