
Brazilian Egg Exports Surprisingly Surge by 75% Year-on-Year

According to recent data released by the Secretariat of Foreign Trade (Secex), Brazilian egg exports, including fresh and processed products, reached the mark of 1.03 thousand tonnes in October. Although this represents a 33% decrease compared to September, it is surprising when contrasted with October 2022 data, showing an increase of 75%.

Egg prices vary across regions
While exports demonstrate soundness, the domestic market also shows signs of resilience. In the last week, prices experienced an uptick in most markets, driven by increased demand.
