Brazil, recognized for its significant biodiversity, is also a leading fruit producer worldwide, ranking third in global production. This is attributed to the collaborative efforts of producers, associations, and government entities aimed at enhancing the sector.
With an increasing demand for healthy and sustainable foods, Brazilian fruits have gained prominence in international markets. In 2023, the country’s fruit exports reached a milestone, surpassing 1.2 billion dollars in revenue, marking a 26.73% increase from the previous year. This achievement was supported by a 6% increase in export volume, exceeding one million tons of fruit.
