Brazilian meat exporters close deals worth US$ 50 million in Dubai

Meatpackers linked to the Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA) closed deals worth more than US$ 50 million in poultry, eggs, and pork export in activities carried out during Gulfood 2022, which ended on the 17th, in Dubai (United Arab Emirates).
The action was carried out by ABPA in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil).
According to an ABPA poll, the predictions for exports based on the talks made during the event surpass US$ 1 billion over the following 12 months – until the next edition of Gulfood.
“These are significant accomplishments given that producers are attempting to extend the Brazilian presence overseas to overcome the obstacles resulting from high production costs,” says ABPA president Ricardo Santin.
