Brazilian Pork and Beef Exports Surge

Brazil’s beef and pork exports continue to rise this year, with the promise of reaching new records in both volume and revenue by the end of the year.
Data released by the Brazilian Association of Meat Exporting Industries (Abiec) shows that exports in October were up 43% compared to last year, and the value growth was even higher, at 44%. This month, the sector sold more than $1.3 billion of beef to various countries, especially China, the largest importer of Brazilian beef. As for pork, Brazilian exports grew by 40% in volume and 50% in revenue.
