Brazil’s Association of Cereal Exporters (Anec) revised down its export forecasts for Brazilian soybean, soymeal, and corn for August on Tuesday (27).
According to a report based on shipments and vessel schedules, Brazilian soybean exports are expected to reach 7.74 million tonnes in August, down from the 8.16 million tonnes forecasted the previous week.
If confirmed, this shipment volume would represent an increase of approximately 172,000 tonnes compared to the volumes shipped in the same month last year.
Brazilian soymeal exports are estimated at 2 million tonnes for this month, compared to 2.39 million tonnes forecasted last week and 1.97 million tonnes in August 2023, according to Anec data.
Corn exports are forecasted at 6.61 million tonnes, down from 7 million tonnes predicted the previous week.
