Brazil is expected to keep up with the strong pace of corn exports in November. According to projections from the National Association of Cereal Exporters (Anec), released on Wednesday (8/11), Brazil will send 8.3 million tonnes of corn abroad. If confirmed, the estimate indicates an increase of 53.7% compared to the volume shipped in November 2022.

Soybean exports will also remain strong this month. According to the entity, shipments are expected to total 5.1 million tonnes, a growth of 168.4% compared to soybean exports in November of the previous year.
The number is meaningful as Brazil typically tends to reduce the volume of soybeans exported in the second half of the year as farmers prioritize negotiating the second corn crop.
There is also an expected increase in soybean meal shipments, projected to grow by 69.2% this month, with sales of 2.2 million tons.

On the other hand, wheat exports from Brazil are expected to close the month with 73.8 thousand tons, lower than the 116.8 thousand tons traded in November of the previous year.
October Exports
Anec also released a report on grain exports in October, with corn standing out. Corn shipments increased by 36% compared to the same month last year, reaching 8.3 million tons.
Regarding soybeans, there was a 68.5% increase in shipments, totaling 5.9 million tons, while soybean meal exports fell by 5%, reaching 1.6 million tons.
Finally, wheat shipments totaled 63.9 thousand tons last month. In October 2022, there were no wheat exports, according to Anec.
