Brazil’s ANTAQ Announces Public Hearing for SSB01 Terminal Lease in São Sebastião

The National Agency for Waterway Transportation (ANTAQ) has approved the opening of public consultation and hearings regarding the lease of the SSB01 terminal at the Port of São Sebastião, São Paulo. The decision was made during a board meeting on Thursday, September 19.
The SSB01 terminal is designated for handling and storing bulk solids, general cargo, and containerized goods. The lease will have a term of 35 years and an estimated investment of R$660 million.
Reporting director Wilson Lima Filho stated that the announcement regarding the date for contributions will be published within 15 days, and the public consultation period will be extended for 60 days.
