Brazil’s raw and processed egg exports rose by 22% in January compared to the same month in 2024, totaling 2,300 metric tons, according to data released by pork and poultry lobby ABPA on Tuesday (11). The revenue from these exports amounted to USD 4.186 million, a 22.8% increase compared to January of last year.
“There has been a significant recovery in the United Arab Emirates’ import flows in recent months,” the president of ABPA, Ricardo Santin, was quoted as saying in a statement released by the institution. He also highlighted the opening of the Mexican market and the demand from Sierra Leone as influencing factors in the egg exports in January. “These markets are expected to maintain this demand throughout this year,” he said.
