Brazil’s exports of soybeans may reach 9.9 million tons in February

According to the weekly assessment of the Brazilian National Association of Cereal Exporters (Anec), Brazil’s exports of soybeans are expected to reach 9.923 million tons in February.
In February 2021, exports stood at 5.510 million tons. In January, Brazil’s shipments were 2.418 million tons.
Between January 23rd and 29th, the country sent 759.519 thousand tons abroad. Anec expects an export of 1.799 million tons between January 30 and February 5.
Shipments are forecasted to reach 1.289 million tons for the soy bran market in February. Last year, the total exported in February was 890,368 thousand tons, while, in January, the volume shipped was 1.588 million tons. Last week, on the other hand, exports stood at 515,604 tons, and the forecast for this week is 373,572 tons.

Maize
Brazilian corn exports may reach 447,414 tons in February, according to Anec.
In February last year, Brazil exported 508,407 tons of the item. In turn, in January 2021, corn shipments totaled 2.294 million tons. The figures recorded so far in 2022 point that shipments reached 2.742 million tons.
Between January 23rd and 29th, Brazil shipped 177,516 tons, while, in the period between January 30 and February 5, Anec expects shipments to reach 557.474 thousand tons.
