Brazil’s January coffee bag shipments at 2.018 million units

Brazilian coffee bean exports in January 2023 totaled 2,018,016 bags of 60 kilos each, up to the 23rd, with 15 working days computed (daily average of 134,533 bags), generating a revenue of US$ 446.497 million (daily average of US$ 29.766 million), and an average price of US$ 221.20 per bag.
The average daily revenue obtained from exports of coffee beans in January is 5.2% lower compared to the daily average of January 2022, which was US$ 31.4 million. The average daily volume shipped is 4.8% lower than in January 2022, with an average daily record of 141,310 bags. The average price, in turn, retrogressed 0.4%.
