
Brazil’s partial 2022 oil exports outdo 2021 total

Brazilian oil exports totaled 6.02 million tonnes in the first three weeks of December, outdoing the 5.91 million tonnes exported in 2021 as a whole, according to foreign trade data on December 19.
The average of shipments per day backed down to 501.3 thousand tonnes versus 615.7 thousand a day seen until last week, still above the average of daily exports in December 2021, 257 thousand tonnes.
On a different note, according to government data, corn sales reached 3.38 million tonnes up to third month of December, catching up to the 3.4 million tonnes shipped in December 2021 as a whole.
Similarlily, sugar exports totaled 1.9 million tonnes as of the now versus 1.94 million in December last year, show the data.
