BRF announced an investment of R$ 233 million to modernize and expand its four Goiás units located in Rio Verde, Jataí, Buriti Alegre, and Mineiros.
The new announcement was part of the protocol of intentions signed last week, in Goiânia, in the presence of Governor Ronaldo Caiado and BRF’s Global Vice President of Institutional Relations and Sustainability, Grazielle Parenti.
“With this investment, we will be able to further diversify BRF’s high-added-value portfolio. Our operations in Goiás are important and include four cities, more than 11,000 employees, and around 500 integrated producers. We continue to reinforce our Company Vision 2030 strategy, which seeks growth with the generation of value for our entire production chain”, says Grazielle.
The amount will be applied to expand and modernize the production of griller and heavy chicken and to the pizza line. In addition to the domestic market, the Goiás units export to countries in Asia, the Middle East, Africa and North America.
