The Cesari Group, headquartered in Cubatão, inaugurated a logistics base in Barcarena (Pará) last Thursday (23). The new terminal covers an area of 340,000 square meters and has the capacity to store 400,000 tonnes of mining, chemical, petrochemical, and general cargo products.
Situated in the industrial hub of Barcarena, 1.5 km from the Vila do Conde Port in Belém do Pará, one of the busiest in the country, the terminal is a crucial point for maritime transport and national and international logistics.
During the launch event, the group unveiled additional projects for investment in the base. These include an inland port area covering 106,000 square meters and a 33,000-square-meter yard.
The inauguration of this base in Barcarena strengthens Cesari Group’s standing in the logistics market and promotes local economic development, generating approximately 300 direct jobs. “This project reflects Cesari Group’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and social progress,” the company stated in a press release.
