According to information from the Federal Government’s Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex) released on Monday, June 13, chicken meat exports (and fresh, chilled, frozen edible offal) generate 40% more earnings in May (22 working days) than in May 2021.
SAFRAS & Mercado analyst Fernando Henrique Iglesias explains that chicken meat exports are currently in a “spectacular” moment. “There is no difficulty in placing the Brazilian product on foreign markets. We follow an old formula: Brazil exports to more than 100 countries, we stand out in halal shipments, and there are cases of avian influenza affecting the Northern Hemisphere. These combined factors guarantee a strong international demand for Brazilian exports over the year”.
