Representatives from the company Golden Seed visited the headquarters of Portos RS at the Port of Rio Grande. On the occasion, Infrastructure Director Lucas Meurer and Environmental Director Henrique Ilha presented the potential of the Port of Rio Grande and the industrial district.
The Chinese group currently exports grain via containers and is evaluating the possibility of also exporting through bulk carriers. The visit aimed to learn about the port complex’s capacities, operational draft, and competitive advantages.
Accompanied by Planning and Development Manager Flávia Galarraga, Technical Advisor to the Operations Directorate Ronaldo Schwonke, and Federal Deputy Daniel Trzeciak, the business representatives toured the local infrastructure, including the Vanzin Group terminal.
Infrastructure Director Lucas Meurer emphasized to the business leaders the presence of a well-established port complex ready to accommodate more players, helping them reduce logistical costs.
“The port complex and industrial district represent both the present and future of logistics in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. This shows that the work is being done efficiently, highlighting our strengths and attracting investment,” he celebrated.
Environmental Director Henrique Ilha highlighted the company’s work in soybean production and welcomed all investments in the industrial district. “The business representatives left with a wealth of relevant information for their business decision-making,” he concluded.
